Summer Bucket-List

1. Taste the locally produced mountain cheese on Alp Laret
High above Celerina, surrounded by flowery meadows and a magnificent mountain panorama, lies Alp Laret. Alpine farmers spend the summer months here and process 500 to 900 litres of milk every day to make Mutschlis, alpine cheese, stracchino or butter. These delicacies, made with passion, are served in the Alpbeizli Laret. In addition to the ricotta, the homemade Kaiserschmarren is an insider tip!
2. Experience a mystical sunrise at Lej da Staz
The morning atmosphere at Lej da Staz is unique. It is no wonder that the bathing lake is so popular with photographers and nature lovers. The magical light, the misty pines and the silence ensure a gentle start to the day.

3. Discover one of the oldest Swiss stone pine forests in the world
Did you know that the oldest Swiss stone pines and larches in the world are found in the Swiss Alps? These impressive trees can also be found in Celerina. 5. Dare to take on an exciting mountain bike descent
The newest member of the “Corviglia Flow Trails” is the technically easiest and shortest and is ideal for “flow trail beginners” and families with children who already have mountain bike experience. The trail winds its way in “flowy” curves to Marguns, from where you can take the chairlift straight back to Corviglia to try out the turns again or try out one of the other “Corviglia Flow Trails”.
6. Visit the extraordinary churches of San Gian and Bel Taimpel
The church of San Gian is the landmark of Celerina and cannot be overlooked. Find out why the church has no roof and marvel at the hand-painted wooden ceiling. The reformed church Bel Taimpel is nestled in the alleys of Celerina. The special feature of this church can also be found on the top of the tower - a rooster that flaps its wings to selected bell tolls!
7. Marvel at the turquoise waters of Lej Alv
The natural reservoir Lej Alv is located above the Marguns mountain station at over 2500 m above sea level. This is where the crystal-clear water from the Val Schlattain and the melting snow from the surrounding mountains collect. A Finnish track runs around the Lej Alv, which makes the lake not only an oasis of relaxation but also an ideal training location for runners.
8. Senda Rumauntscha
Five exciting stations open the door to the Romansh language. A mysterious manuscript. A language that has resonated through the Engadin for centuries. And a path that tells stories.
The "Senda rumauntscha" leads through the picturesque village of Celerina, opening the door to the Romansh language at five engaging stations.
Through interactive activities, participants discover everyday words, learn about local traditions, uncover a typical recipe, and guess numbers. At the heart of the tour is the legend of a lost manuscript that left its mark on the village.
Clues and fragments accompany visitors from station to station, until finally, a previously hidden message of Romansh culture is revealed.
9. Get to know the typical Engadine cuisine
Capuns, Pizzoccheri or Torta Da Nusch - Engadin cuisine is shaped by the barren and at the same time diverse nature that surrounds it. On a guided culinary village tour, guests get to know the lively food culture and regional specialties of the Engadin. Each course is served in a different restaurant and exciting stories from and around Celerina are told along the way.
10. Be part of the traditional Alpabzug from Celerina
