Mountain bike in Celerina

Marmotta Flow Trail - Celerina
Hardly any mountain bike fan doubts that the bicycle is the most important invention of mankind. Especially after a day on the Corviglia full of uphill and downhill fun, over single trails and along the flowing downhill pump tracks, one thing is certain: the trinity of feeling of freedom, experiencing nature and sport couldn't be better!

Mountain biking in Celerina

Not many Swiss mountains have more mountain bike trails to offer than the Corviglia: from easy to difficult, from the after-work ride to the Grand Tour... trails as far as the eye can see, and this not least because many routes can also be combined with one another.

Marmotta Flow Trail

The newest member of the “Corviglia Flow Trails” is the technically easiest and shortest and is ideal for “flow trail beginners” and families with children who already have mountain bike experience. The trail winds its way in “flowy” curves to Marguns, from where you can take the chairlift straight back to Corviglia to try out the turns again or try out one of the other “Corviglia Flow Trails”.

Olympia Flow Trail

The easy start - the cable car ride from St. Moritz up to Piz Nair (3058 m above sea level) - is deceptive, because the single trail that starts from up here is a real challenge! For a short acclimatization break and an enjoyable view into the distance and of the impressive array of surrounding three-thousand-meter peaks, a visit to the panoramic restaurant is worthwhile. Then off you go on the tough single trail that leads through the rough high alpine surroundings, first through the eponymous Val Schlattain, then past the picturesque Lej Alv natural reservoir to the Corviglia mountain station. In addition to flowing sections, the trail really challenges you (and your muscles) again and again! But if you still haven't had enough at the finish, you can just keep your bike rolling and crown your bike day with the magnificent Olympia Flow Trail to the Chantarella middle station.

Trais Fluors

"Trais Fluors" - in English "Three Flowers" - that sounds lovely, relaxed and easy... but the impression is deceptive, because this Engadin premium trail is not free! Challenging 26 kilometers drive you from adrenaline rush to adrenaline rush and still (or: because of that?) lead you straight to mountain biker happiness. From Celerina it goes steeply uphill to Chantarella, from where the trail continues to the Corviglia mountain station and then via Lej Alv to the Trais Fluors mountain station. From the ridge it becomes relaxed and easy, because you happily whizz down the winding trail towards Alp Muntatsch and back to Celerina via Samedan.

Val Schlattain

The cable car takes you from the Signal valley station up to Piz Nair, St. Moritz's local mountain at 3,059 meters above sea level. A stop at the panoramic restaurant is not only worthwhile for the breathtaking view of the surrounding three-thousand-meter peaks and the Bernina group, but also for acclimatization. Then a top-class trail adventure begins: after a short warm-up of 800 meters on the piste, the path turns right onto the trail to Fuorcla Schlattain and continues through the Val Schlattain down to Corviglia. The trail alternates between flowing passages and demanding technical challenges. Once you've arrived down in Corviglia, your muscles are perfectly prepared for the Olympia Trail down to Chantarella. This 4 km long trail was specially designed for mountain biking and has to be experienced - words are not enough. From Chantarella, it's a relaxed ride back to the Signal valley station on the asphalt road.
