Useful tips about swimming in open waters

Children must always be supervised.

Do not go into the water on a full or completely empty stomach.

Since the body needs time to adjust, you should never jump into the water when overheated.

Rivers warm up less quickly than lakes.

Be careful when jumping into rivers or lakes: the bottom can be dangerous and cause injuries.

When swimming, pay close attention to floating debris and underwater obstacles, such as bulky objects.

Never swim long distances alone.

Air mattresses and buoyancy aids are no guarantee of safety.
