Ski Paradise Celerina

Skiing in the Engadin – for many ski fans, this is synonymous with “downhill fun on the Corviglia”. 24 lifts, 163 kilometres spread over 36 pistes, of which 42 km are blue, 79 km are red and 34 km are black, are the impressive key figures. But a day of skiing on the Corviglia is much more: whoever glides, swings or whizzes down its slopes becomes one with great winter sports history! Five Ski World Cups and the 1948 Winter Olympics have already been held on the “Engadin sports mountain” and first-class conditions still await you today:
White Carpet
When freshly groomed slopes of World Cup quality beckon, the first rays of sunshine of the day illuminate 100 deserted kilometers of slopes, and the daily challenges of the Corviglia Snow Park have not yet been mastered - yes, then it's worth getting up early from the warm bed! Let's take the first cable car ride at 7:45 a.m. to experience true summit bliss, because what could be more wonderful than gliding in the morning sun with wide turns over the freshly groomed slopes?

"Olympia"
The name of this black-marked slope (No. 12) also says it all, as it has achieved fame and glory as the setting for legendary Olympic races. For example, the dramatic downhill victory of the "Swiss Amazon" Hedy Schlunegger at the 1948 Winter Games remains unforgettable. Despite a fall, she "came down the slopes at great speed and withstood all the shots brilliantly" (NZZ, February 3, 1948). We think: follow in Hedy Schlunegger's footsteps - if possible, of course, without "kissing the snow".
«Ski Run»
You can only get to the so-called FIS piste (No. 5) through an original World Cup start house, because the conditions here are truly world championship-worthy: A display informs ambitious skiers about the current best time of the day and poses the unspoken question: "Can you beat this time?" Anyone who wants to answer this question resolutely passes the light barrier and races down the approximately 400 m long giant slalom course. The cameras at the side of the track film the entire run, and the video, including a greeting from Lara Gut, is available for download immediately afterwards.
«Speed Check»
Fast, faster, Corviglia! On piste no. 15 you can "drive" your top speed thanks to the speedometers installed. Our advice: always smile! Because proof of this speed ride is a radar image that you can download for free in the evening.
