Whether by e-bike or your own muscle power - the bike paths around La Punt offer a lot of fun and variety. If you love the rush of fast curves, the Albula Trail is a good choice: At 8.6 kilometers, the tour from the Albula Hospice offers a unique single trail experience. If, on the other hand, you are looking for seclusion, peace and a special nature experience, head to the Val Chamuera by bike. On a well-developed natural road, you go quickly up the valley until suddenly, as if out of nowhere, the old Serlas muleteer's house appears. Here you can marvel at the impressive panorama and take a rest before continuing steeply up to Alp Prüna or back to the village. The sections of the Inn cycle path can also be easily cycled from La Punt Chamues-ch, either up the valley over the spectacular lake district to Maloja or in the opposite direction to Zernez.

It's no wonder that trail running is enjoying increasing popularity, as running in the woods on unpaved paths is associated with lots of fun and adventure. Running away from paved roads is ideal training for the body and mind, as running over overgrown meadow paths also improves concentration by avoiding stones or tree roots. To prepare yourself optimally for the countless trails, a visit to Switzerland's first trail running course is a good idea. You can concentrate on training important skills such as balance, speed and coordination on a 1 km long circuit. From beginners to professionals, everyone will find the right exercises at the eight different stations.
8. Orienteering on the Albula Pass
Running through the checkpoints in the terrain in a set order in the shortest possible time is not only demanding on your physical fitness, but also on your mental fitness. In orienteering, or OL for short, you are completely free to choose your route between these stations; the only tools you need to find the fastest route are a map and compass. From the end of June to the end of August, a training route with 10-15 marked stations is available to all orienteering enthusiasts on the Albula Pass. The orienteering route network is freely accessible and is suitable for professionals and beginners alike. Since the training area is at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, it is also ideal for altitude training.
9. Engadin River Ranch
They say that happiness is on horseback. The Engadin River Ranch will give you this feeling of happiness. It offers western-style rides for both beginners and advanced riders. In summer, autumn and winter, short rides, day trips or multi-day tours on horseback lead through the Engadin mountains. If you prefer to travel by carriage, the ranch also offers that.
