The mystical Lej Nair lies idyllically hidden in the forest "God Surlej", above Surlej on the way to St. Moritz-Bad. This special mountain lake is located in a protected moorland area of national importance, in close proximity to Lej Marsch.

On sunny days, Lej Nair – meaning "Black Lake" in English – reveals its most beautiful side: fir trees, sky, and clouds are reflected in the dark water's surface, creating a typical Upper Engadine postcard scene.
