Guided village tour of Zuoz

Who is the most beautiful in the whole country? Zuoz would have a good chance of winning this title!
The heart of Zuoz, arguably the most beautiful village in the Upper Engadine, is the impressive village square with the historic Crusch Alva inn, the Church of San Luzi, the stately Planta houses, and the imposing Planta Tower. Pure Engadine tradition, further enhanced by the late Romanesque Chapel of San Bastiaun and the Gothic church of Santa Chatrigna, can be experienced firsthand on the village tour. The proud patrician houses with their Engadine oriel windows and sgraffito facades stand side by side and are uniquely preserved – impressive witnesses to a vibrant past that Zuoz has carried into the present.
Yet, time doesn't stand still in this tradition-conscious village of 1,300 inhabitants. On the contrary: thanks to the beautifully designed 18-hole golf course, an attractive inline skating track, and a variety of hiking and biking trails, this charming village is also ideally positioned for the future of tourism.
