The Engadin Ski Marathon is the largest mass sports event in Switzerland and the second largest cross-country skiing event in the world.

Switzerland’s largest mass-participation sporting event and the world’s second-largest cross-country ski race attracts around 13,500 cross-country skiing enthusiasts from over 60 nations to the high valley of Graubünden each year.

Since 1969, participants have covered the 55 km marathon course across frozen lakes, past traditional Engadin villages, and through a unique winter landscape to S-chanf.

The Marathon Week also includes the Engadin Half Marathon, the Engadin Women’s Race, the Engadin Night Race, as well as numerous events in the Marathon Village in Pontresina.

The Engadin Skimarathon is an unforgettable experience not only for participants but also offers spectators spectacular impressions and images.
