Coffeehouse Hanselmann
Fritz Hanselmann opened his bakery more than 125 years ago. Guests at the bakery, who were mostly English, asked that they be entertained in the family’s private apartment, which likely made the apartment the first tea room in St. Moritz and also probably one of the first coffee houses in Switzerland.
Behind the well-known sgraffito façade, much more than bread, Engadine nut cakes and chocolates are sold. Kaffeehaus Hanselmann is a traditional coffee house with an elegant ambience for more than 200 guests that offers a culinary range that meets the highest standards.
