Zuoz Winter Skigebiet Pizzet
Winter in Zuoz is icy, it has a ski area that is an insider tip and also offers high-class art and first-class coffee. What are you waiting for - get into winter fun and experience our top 7.

1. Zuoz-Pizzet/Albanas ski area

Perhaps it is no longer an insider tip that the Zuoz-Pizzet/Albanas ski area is ideal for families and for anyone who wants to take turns away from the hustle and bustle.

Snow sports enthusiasts are in particularly good hands on the sun-drenched slopes of Zuoz's local mountain, Pizzet (2465 m). The area is suitable for beginners as well as advanced skiers and snowboarders. Five lifts take care of the transport until the next descent on perfectly groomed slopes. The Chastlatsch chairlift, which is specially secured for children, allows even small children from the age of 4 to get up the mountain safely without adult supervision.

Special attractions include the Gian Plaiv fun slope, the timed slope and the Snow Park.

2. Sledding

Fed up of skiing? How about a round of sledding? All you need to do is change your sports equipment, because the 1.5-kilometer-long sledding run is located in the family ski area of Zuoz. You can reach the start on foot or comfortably with the Chastlatsch chairlift. The fun begins right at the mountain station.

Don't have your own sled? No problem. Sleds can be rented from the Chastlatsch Rent Station.

3. Icy pleasure

The Madulain-Zuoz ice trail embodies the romantic image of ice skating in a snowy meadow landscape. On two runners, it leads along the Inn from Zuoz to Madulain for a length of around 2.5 kilometers. The trail nestles perfectly into the sun-drenched landscape. Whether romantically holding hands, pushing a stroller or pulling a sledge behind you - walking up and down the trail is great fun and fills you with happiness. And you will notice that after a few laps you can cross the sports item off your list of daily goals - because the fun is also good for your legs. If the weather permits, there is also a full moon ice skating event in January and February - it doesn't get more romantic than that.

There is also plenty of fun on two runners in the village center. The Purtum ice rink is next to the Swiss Snow Kids Village with a family-friendly restaurant. For all ice skating enthusiasts, the rink is illuminated in the evenings in February.

In total, you will find over 240 kilometres of cross-country ski trails in the Engadin - every cross-country skier's heart will beat faster, and not just because of the effort. Would you like to take your dog with you on the trail? Of course. We have created four dog trails for this purpose, on which your four-legged friend can run alongside you without having to be on a leash. You will find the trails for you and your faithful friend between Samedan, Bever, La Punt Chamues-ch, Madulain, Zuoz and S-chanf. The trails are clearly marked as “dog trails” and are characterized by an easy route.
