Winter Bucket-List Bever

Experience magical moments
The mountain world around Bever is fascinating and invites you to numerous activities. The village is centrally located and offers everything for families, ski and snowboard fans, and cross-country skiing enthusiasts.
Cross-country skiing in Val Bever

Bever - Spinas (SwitzerlandMobility Route 266)
Along the RhB line and the Beverinbach, the trail gently ascends to Spinas at the south portal of the Albula Tunnel. Short detours through Swiss stone pine and larch forests – or into the restaurant at the turning point of the trail – provide relaxation.

Winter hiking in Bever
The winter hiking trail into Val Bever runs parallel to the cross-country ski trail. We recommend taking the path on the left side of the valley, which leads through a snow-covered forest to Spinas. And it doesn't always have to be Val Bever – the winter hiking trails from Bever towards Samedan, or in the other direction to La Punt, are mostly flat and run along the Inn River, which gives them a special touch on cold winter days: the deciduous trees transform into works of art covered in ice crystals. So what are you waiting for? Put on your winter boots and off you go! There's certainly no shortage of winter hiking kilometers to be covered in the Engadin.
ice skating and sledding
The Crasta Mora toboggan run above Bever is a 20-minute walk away. If you can't get enough of tobogganing, a couple of 20-minute runs is perfectly acceptable, right? If you like things fast, head to the nearby toboggan run on Muottas Muragl, which provides an adrenaline rush but is not for beginners or small children.
If you prefer to travel upright on two runners, you can have fun on the natural ice rink in Bever.

Who can hit all nine with one ball and thus win the "Babeli" bowling match? At the Spinas Inn, a 100-year-old bowling alley with original wooden bowls awaits you. In addition to the game, you'll also enjoy culinary delights – the cheese fondue tastes even better in this historic setting. If you're not staying overnight at the inn, the best option is to take a carriage back to Bever and enjoy a few romantic moments after your exhilarating evenings.
By the way, at the Spinas Inn, you'll be served by the inventor of the cult drink "Hugo" himself.
