Historic village center of Samedan

Crappun, Crasta and Surtuor are the names of the parts in the historic village centre of Samedan with many Engadin mansions from the 16th and 17th centuries. Sgraffito, i.e. ornaments scratched into the plaster, deep rows of windows, bay windows and mighty entrance gates tell of days long gone.
