A route for those who enjoy peace and quiet. Starting at Bever railway station, the trail leads into Val Bever, partly through a fairytale-like forest along the Beverinbach stream to Spinas. Thanks to its sheltered location, snow often remains on the trees for a long time, creating a magical atmosphere. Silence is broken only by the soft glide of cross-country skis on the nearby trail or the rhythmic sound of the Rhaetian Railway passing through the valley.

This hike leads from sunny slopes down into the valley and through historic village centres. It starts at the village church in Samedan and climbs to the south-facing Cristolais hillside with views towards Muottas Muragl. In Celerina, the route continues along the valley floor, passing the San Gian church and Ochsenbrücke bridge, following the Flaz and the River Inn back to Samedan.

An easy hike to two well-known Engadin moorland lakes. From St. Moritz, the trail climbs through a snow-covered forest to the former Olympic ski jump and on to Lej Nair. After exploring the winter scenery, the route continues to Lej Zuppò. The trail then descends towards Surlej. From here, you can either return to Lej Nair or descend into the village of Surlej.

This route crosses the frozen Lake Sils from Maloja via Isola to Sils. It is hard to believe that a large lake lies beneath the blanket of snow. Out on the lake, the vastness of the Engadin landscape unfolds. The area is especially atmospheric in the evening light, when the low sun bathes the lake district in warm colours. The route can also be walked in reverse, starting in Sils and finishing in Maloja.

Wide views over the Engadin lake plateau accompany this hike from start to finish. Salastrains can be reached by the Chantarella funicular or, for more athletic hikers, via the Schellenursli trail from St. Moritz village. Although the terrace of Restaurant Salastrains is tempting, the one-hour hike towards Suvretta is well worth starting straight away. Numerous photo spots along the way capture the winter landscape. The hike ends with lunch at Restaurant Chasellas.

This easy and very sunny hike starts at the Inn bridge in La Punt. The trail follows the River Inn towards Madulain, passing traditional Engadin and patrician houses. Along the way, views open up towards Piz Kesch. The route continues through the floodplain of San Batrumieu and the villages of Zuoz and S-chanf. From S-chanf, the trail leads through forest towards Susauna and Chapella to Cinuos-chel-Brail railway station.
