Hahnensee descent
The black slope from Giand'Alva over the Hahnensee to St. Moritz Bad is one of the most famous slopes in the Engadin. It begins with wide, open steep slopes and ends in a snow-covered fairytale forest – in short: a dream come true for real snow sports enthusiasts. The nine-kilometre descent is the perfect way to end an exciting day on Corvatsch and is a must-do, not least because of the magnificent view of the Upper Engadin lakes....

The Giand' Alva chairlift is already running from 9:00 a.m. At the end of the slope, you can take the Engadinbus lines 1 and 6 to get back to the Corvatsch valley station. Every 10 minutes, you can then comfortably travel via St. Moritz Bad and Champfèr back to Surlej.

Ski shuttle between St. Moritz railway station and the Corvatsch valley station
With the Hahnensee Express (Line 1 and Line 6, St. Moritz local bus), you can get off directly at the valley station of the Signal cable car in St. Moritz. Every half hour, you can comfortably reach the Corvatsch valley station via St. Moritz station, the Signal cable car and Champfèr. With a valid mountain railway ticket, you can travel for free between the Signal and Corvatsch mountain railways.
