Fishing in the Engadin
The joy of fishing in an Alpine paradise. With its many mountain lakes and waterways, the Engadin is one of Europe's most beautiful fishing regions. Here you will find current information, seasons and the most important fishing guidelines in the Upper Engadin.
Fishing seasons
The fishing season in the Upper Engadin begins on May 1st and lasts until mid or late September in most waters. For detailed information on individual waters, we recommend taking a look at the overview map provided by the Graubünden Office for Hunting and Fishing.

Fishing licenses
Fishing licences can be purchased by anyone aged 14 or over. Short-term licences for 1-15 days, long-term licences for 30 days and season licences can be purchased online. Short-term licences are sent digitally as a PDF by email immediately after the order has been placed and paid for online. Long-term licences are sent by post within five working days.
