Golfing

Golfen im Engadin
Golfers' happiness is never far away in the Engadine, as the sunny high valley is one of the most beautiful Alpine golf regions with one 9-hole and two 18-hole golf courses. Our breathtaking Alpine panorama, the varied golf courses and the dry Engadine air, which makes the balls fly further than anywhere else, have always delighted professional golfers and amateurs alike. However, we cannot promise that you will manage a hole-in-one on your round of golf.

Golfing fun for everyone

At a glance

The Samedan Golf Course is not only the oldest golf course in Switzerland, with a tradition stretching back 126 years, but also one of the best in the country. As a host to numerous tournaments, the 18-hole championship course (par 72), with its 6,720-metre length, presents tournament players with sporting challenges – long and precisely placed shots are essential if you want to walk off the course as the winner at the end.

The spacious short game area, with water and bunker hazards, and the club's own driving range with 40 tees, provide ample opportunity for practice. Professional swing analysis is available at the Bodmer Performance Center, which is equipped with TrackMan, FlightScope, RoboGolfPro and a SAM PuttLab. If you want to work on your golf swing or your short game, the pros at the ‘Engadin Golf Center’ academy are the perfect choice – you won't find better golf expertise than this.

The 18-hole championship course (par 72) in Zuoz-Madulain also hosts numerous tournaments. Its unique location, with its playful fairways stretching over 6,007 metres through beautiful natural surroundings, requires a great deal of skill and precision to keep your handicap down. The chip and putting area, the spacious driving range and the club's own golf simulator also offer excellent training conditions.

On six Sundays during the summer season, children and young people can show what they've got at the FRESK Open junior tournament! The game is played according to Stableford on 3, 5 or 9 holes. Neither a handicap nor a handicap certificate is required to participate – the most important requirement here is ‘having fun’!
