Stubete am See: Opening concert with Eiger, Mönch & UrSchwyz

The band Eiger, Mönch & UrSchwyz plays at the concert venue at the entrance to the Fexerschlucht gorge and gets the whole village in the mood for the Stubete by the lake.
Four young women, four string instruments: Eiger, Mönch & UrSchwyz, from all over Switzerland and beyond. This string quartet showcases the diversity of string folk music, as well as old and new folk music. In Sils, Eiger Mönch & UrSchwyz present their first studio album, "Nordwind" (North Wind). The four musicians take a musical journey north. Their new program features 11 original compositions, Nordic pieces, and some old Muotatal dances. Archaic, rustic, yet experimental and groovy. A concentrated dose of joy, energy, and groove, paired with ethereal and mysterious sounds perfect for relaxing, dreaming, and unwinding.
Performance: Maria Gehrig: Violin Hanna Landolt: Violin Kristina Brunner: Cello, Schwyzerörgeli Evelyn Brunner: Double Bass, Schwyzerörgeli
The Stubete am See Festival: Over three days, 21 concerts take place at seven different venues and can be attended with a festival pass including hotel accommodation or with individual tickets. The highlight is the closing concert on Sunday in the Champsegl schoolhouse.
