Stubete am See: Closing concert "Fahre"

A brilliant finale to the Stubete am See: premiere of a "music-word interweaving" with a large ensemble and the Engadine musician Lorenzo Polin.
As the highlight and finale of the 2026 festival, the musicians will unite to form the large Kristina Brunner Ensemble. In Sils, Lorenzo Polin from the Engadine will recite the texts of Pedro Lenz for the first time. "Fahre" (Travel) represents passing landscapes, evocative moods, sonic atmospheres, and the movement between the familiar and the unknown. It also represents being on the move, which is particularly true for the traveling musician Kristina Brunner. Starting from her roots in traditional Swiss folk music, she explores more distant soundscapes with open ears, creating a playful space to develop her own musical language. Ultimately, with "Fahre," Kristina Brunner describes a musical state—when it flows and grooves! The result is a 45-minute interwoven tapestry of music and words, which she performs with eight outstanding fellow musicians. Personnel: Kristina Brunner: Composition, Schwyzerörgeli (Swiss accordion), Cello; Andreas Gabriel: Violin; Gabriel Miranda: Violin, Viola; Jürg Nietlispach: Halszither (neck zither); Albin Brun: Soprano and tenor saxophone, Schwyzerörgeli; Sonja Ott: Flugelhorn; Evelyn Brunner: Double bass, Schwyzerörgeli; Markus Lauterburg: Percussion; Lorenzo Polin: Spoken Words (Texts by Pedro Lenz)
