SRF Kulturclub: Reading and discussion with Felicitas Hoppe about her book "Reisen"

Life is a journey with an unknown destination. But how do we live while traveling? How do we sleep, where do we live, what do we eat, how do we love, argue, and work, while, with all the risks and side effects, we are constantly on the move, exploring the world to get a little closer to the place we long for? Who would know better than Felicitas Hoppe, who, since circumnavigating the globe on a container ship, has effortlessly transcended all boundaries with her imagination and storytelling passion? She has been constantly on the move for many years and reflects on the everyday life and metaphysics of travel with both insight and captivating insight. Nicola Steiner speaks with the Büchner Prize winner about restlessness and inertia, and the privilege of freedom to travel. Her book "Reisen" (Travel) was published in 2016 by Hanser Berlin. This is a public evening event as part of an SRF Kulturclub reading seminar.
