Running event: 79th Cross-Country Race through Celerina

This year marks the 79th edition of the traditional "Quer durch Celerina" race. While in previous years the event attracted participants of all ages, the obstacle course has increasingly become a race for children and teenagers from Celerina and the villages of the Upper Engadine. The number of participants has stabilized at around 100 children and teenagers in recent years.

Participants always run in teams of three, which fosters team spirit. The members of the Celerina Gymnastics Club, supported by members of the local women's fitness group and volunteers, organize this race in the first half of September.

Date: Saturday, September 5, 2026.
Time: Bib number distribution and opening of refreshments at 1:15 p.m.,
start at 2:00 p.m.
Location: School playground, course on the sports field and adjacent meadow for the upper school course.
