Exciting insight into the flora of the Alpine Garden in Sils from the perspective of a biologist
Biologist Imelda Schmid leads a tour through the Sils Maria Alpine Garden. A small alpine garden was established over 100 years ago on Muot Marias, the hill above the sports center. The renowned mountain guide Christian Klucker himself initiated this gem and also led tours through the beautiful grounds. Besides the ideal characteristics of Muot Marias and its associated rich flora, the biologist shares other fascinating insights, such as information about the spotted nutcracker and the forests of the Engadine. The paths on Muot Marias are steep and narrow; participants should be reasonably fit.
