FLUORS / BLUMEN – Concert by the Engadine vocal ensemble ENsemble

Programme

The Engadine vocal ensemble ENsemble presents a varied a cappella programme on the theme of flowers. The repertoire includes Romantic choral works by Joseph Rheinberger, Franz Schubert and Anton Bruckner, madrigals from the late Renaissance and contemporary compositions.

Performers

The choir is made up of 15 amateur singers from the Engadine and is directed by the young musician Miriam Brang. A small group of string instruments provides contrasting sounds to the a cappella singing.

Atmosphere

This concert offers a contemplative, emotional atmosphere and invites the audience on a musical journey of flowers. Admission is free; a collection will be taken.
