Bavania - Lead casting

January 6th is a special occasion for the Giuventüna da Samedan: "Bavania" (Epiphany) is celebrated with an old custom, lead pouring. The lead shapes projected onto the wall with candlelight are interpreted using very old horoscopes. The Giuventüna will once again present this old custom to the public on the village square. As has become tradition, a large Epiphany cake from the Laager bakery will be distributed on the village square. Everyone is invited to take a roll. With a bit of luck, you will be one of the lucky ones who finds a king in a roll!
