Windsurfing Silvaplana offers group, private and semi-private courses for guests of all ages. In addition, from mid-June until mid-September it hires out the latest equipment from various top brands. The Maloja wind, which invariably blows up in the afternoon, whips over the lake at a speed of 4-6 Bft, making Silvaplana arguably the best-known windsurfing destination in Switzerland.
