Cooking is James Baron's absolute passion and he is constantly trying to refine his art. In the newly designed restaurant "La Chavallera" (the mule driver), the star chef mixes the culinary treasures of the Alps with fresh flavours from all over the world. The basic idea is based on the old muleteer tradition, as can be seen on an old sgraffito in La Punt. On their way over the passes, the muleteers supplied the people in the valleys with new ideas and goods from outside in exchange for products from the villages.
