For 150 years, visitors in Engadin St. Moritz have been skating - in Celerina, in particularly high style.
Visitors to the Engadin are especially fond of skating, and the rinks in this high valley have a long and rich history: the first curling match on the European continent was held here (1880), along with the first European skating championships (1882) and the first ice hockey game on Swiss territory (1888).
For a hundred years, the ice rink in Celerina has been known as the sunniest in Europe. It offers a particularly wide range of facilities, including a rink for public skating and ice hockey, a natural ice rink, and a curling rink with seven sheets.
