The Sils Museum in the Chesa Fonio dedicates its annually changing exhibitions to themes related to art and culture, history and the area today, and the region. The Andrea Robbi Foundation, which runs the museum, also has the task of preserving the artistic heritage of the significant Sils painter Andrea Robbi and making it accessible to the public.
Current exhibition: Flowing Alps. On the transformation of the landscape
The exhibition takes the change in the alpine natural spaces, accelerated by rising temperatures, as its starting point. Works of contemporary art, exhibits from historical collections and thoughts of local people address the fragility of nature, even of huge masses like mountains and glaciers, and remind us of our responsibility towards our planet and future generations.
