Martina Linn
Martina Linn, born in the Swiss Alps in 1991, unfolded from traditional Swiss folk music roots to become a captivating artist. She thrilled audiences with yodelling and mountain melodies at a young age, later becoming a pop, rock, Americana and indie folk sensation. Influenced by the likes of Eva Cassidy, Neil Young and Laura Marling, Linn began creating her own music at sixteen. Her journey as a musician began in 2010 when she moved to Lucerne to study music. This led to her debut album She Is Gone in 2013, followed by Pocket of Feelings in 2015 and Win What Yesterday Lost in 2019. Most notable is her venture into an artistic journey to musically interpret Romansh poetry, with release in September 2023. Linn's signature sound combines soft and vibrant tones, showcasing her unwavering passion and musical authenticity. With each album she continues to evolve and diversify, creating a unique place for herself in the Swiss music scene.
