The chalet "La Rosée" was built in 1885 by Countess Rosinne de la Rosée de Mannheim as a holiday residence. Each of the rooms in the house has its own distinct character and is furnished with genuine, even period pieces. The house and its furnishings are almost in perfect original condition. The house is permeated by turn of the century "grandeur" from the days when the Eiffel Tower was just being given its foundations. In 1994, the firm H. U. Diener AG, which at had leased the house for a decade, was able to purchase the Villa "La Rosée" from the heirs. Since then they have been carefully maintaining and restoring it, step by step. "Fin de siècle" aficionados will love their stay in these rooms!
