The footpath network of the Engadin is said to extend for 580 kilometres. No one knows the precise figure, but one thing is for sure: every kilometre is a unique experience of nature. Immerse yourself in the inspiring beauty of our landscapes while keeping a sharp eye for details. The paths are scattered with treasures, and with a little luck you can spot marmots, ibex or even an eagle.
Lace up your walking boots and you are ready for adventure! However you like to hike – with friends, with family, or solo with nothing but your thoughts for company – you will find trails to suit. Expect breathtaking views, a wealth of fauna and flora and an enchanting experience of the culture and landscapes of the Engadin: welcome to your spiritual home!
Thanks to the careful signposting of all footpaths and the reliable cable cars and funiculars, you are sure to reach your goal – even if it is a remote mountain refuge or Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) hut. Before you set off, however, you should ensure you have all the equipment you need. A lunch pack is not always required, though – our many excursion restaurants at all altitudes are already looking forward to your visit!
