The Friends-of-Nature hut lies on the left side of the valley, in a quite and sunny location. Plants are officially protected here, with the result that the meadows are covered with Alpine flowers. The area is also home to profuse native wildlife, including many bird species, some of them rare. In winter, guests can ski from the Corviglia-Piz Nair ski area direct down to the hut.
