The Engadin has a packed treasure chest of unforgettable holiday experiences ready for children and parents alike. There’s something for every generation: our region is not just a thrilling land of adventure for families, but also home to a tremendous wealth of culture. Every excursion is a journey of discovery!
Even on a holiday with (very) young children in the Engadin, parents really get to relax – and not only when grandparents are there as babysitters! Grandma and Grandpa also get to enjoy their holiday with the whole family thanks to the colourful choice of activities on offer. For slightly older children, our holiday region is one big adventure playground – but parents, too, can look forward to a complete break at our family destinations, recommended by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
Come rain or sunshine – you can enjoy swimming, paddling and simply relaxing in the water in the Engadin, whatever the weather! Head for one of the refreshingly cool mountain lakes, for example, or one of the moorland lakes warmed by the sunshine, or a fully equipped adventure pool complex with spa. Whether you opt for indoors or out – the whole family will love it!
Yep, it's family time.
The search for family fun in the Engadin never lasts long, because the next adventure is invariably round the corner. Enjoy downhill fun on giant freewheel mountain scooters at Marguns, for example; or find dwarf goats, rabbits and chickens that children can befriend and stroke up at Furtschellas. Over in Pontresina, the large population of wild ibex living nearby offers a good chance to spot the region’s iconic animal – while the Cuntschett pump track on the edge of the village offers thrill seekers of all ages a rolling ride to test their balance in style.
All together now! When the whole family is on tour with the single goal of having a grand time, every moment is a little party of its own. You take walks down memory lane, discover new things, and make plans for the future. We say: There is no better way to revel in this great spirit than by participating in these Engadin family events.
