Around the project MortAlive, students of the Graubünden School of Tourism have learned how to produce an exhibition. A local project, by local students about a local theme is given International radiance: not only the theme of global warming caused glacier melt is of international relevance, but the artists selected for the group exhibition are Swiss artists of the International Art Stage. Works by Michel Comte, Not Vital, Huber.huber and Daniel Meuli will be shown. The "status quo" of the glaciers will be rounded off with an insight into the past of Morteratsch based on research in the Upper Engadine Cultural Archives and an immersion in the photographic work of Elizabeth Main, a pioneer in alpinism and photography - and with an outlook on the future of the glaciers, in which the students interviewed glaciologists and researchers. Glacier experts will also speak at the opening. The exhibition project was framed by Mayk Wendt and curated by Carolin A. Geist.
The vernissage is a 3-G event.
