Maloja lies at 1817 m and is uniquely beautiful in every season.
Politically it belongs to Bergell (municipality of Bregaglia) and geographically to the Upper Engadine. Maloja is architecturally distinguished by several buildings built by the Belgian Count Renesse, which are true symbols, such as the Maloja Palace and the Torre Belvedere.
The tour starts at the tourist office. In 1.5 - 2 hours you will get to know the village of Maloja, its history and development, its inhabitants and some of its historically important buildings. You will also learn interesting facts about famous personalities such as Segantini or Giacometti, who enjoyed and conveyed the beauty of this unique landscape.
