Festival da Jazz: Tough Tenor

Festival da Jazz: Tough Tenor

Open-Air concert with Tough Tenor

The jazz critic Tom Gsteiger writes: "In his tenor sax solos Grab evokes memories of swing tenorists like Ben Webster and Paul Gonsalves, oscillating between lascivious laconicism and snorting ecstasy, without merely imitating them. Grab is not a retro-nostalgic, but a tradition-conscious modernist. This statement is spot on. Grab comes to St. Moritz with a Hammond organ combo, which shows drive and drama.

The fresh wind from Lake St. Moritz blows away all worries. One of our new open-air stages, right next to the sailing club on the shore of the lake below Badrutt´s Palace.
