In Finland it is very cold for a long time. No wonder, Finland has produced a whole lot of jazz musicians who know exactly how to heat up the audience. Among them is trumpeter Jukka Eskola, whose virtuoso playing evokes memories of great moments of "groove jazz" from the period between 1955 and 1970 - that is, from a time when the Blue Note label significantly influenced the development of jazz with recordings by Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Lee Morgan and others.
