Festival da Jazz: Anna Känzig

St. Moritz
We are pleased to award Anna Känzig the Ambrosetti Award 2024. Anna Känzig will perform a concert as part of the award ceremony with the formation "Känzig & Känzig."

Whether it's electronic folk, nu soul, or chamber pop, Anna Känzig's musical universe knows no bounds. Born in Zurich, the singer-songwriter grew up in a very musical environment, which is reflected in her diverse musical style. Anna discovered her passion for music at an early age, which eventually became her profession. Her first and second albums, rooted in unplugged folk, were released in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Anna Känzig's third album, co-written with her drummer Django Hodosy and arranged by Roy Kerr, the producer of London Grammar, was recorded in London and released in spring 2019. Recently, she has collaborated extensively with Swiss singer Tobey Lucas and has been involved in various music theater projects.
