He has been described by critics as "a true virtuoso, a fiery spirit with depth". His imagination, elegance, expressive poetry and clear articulation make Louis Schwizgebel an exceptional young pianist. "Music must touch, not impress" is his credo. Born in Geneva in 1987 into a Swiss-Chinese artistic family, he made his breakthrough at the Leeds International Competition in 2012. Since then, invitations from some of the most important orchestras, concert halls and festivals have followed. A number of CD recordings also attest to his exceptional talent, with which he will enchant audiences at his debut in Engadin.
