The Belcea Quartet is probably unsurpassed by any other ensemble at the moment. They play in the best concert halls in the world: in London, New York, Paris and Vienna. 28 years ago, the Romanian violinist Corina Belcea, the Polish violist Krzysztof Chorzelski and the two French musicians Axel Schacher (violin) and Antoine Lederlin (violoncello) met as students at the Royal College of Music in London. In the meantime, the phenomenal quartet has its own trust, with which it in turn promotes young ensembles. After two years, it can finally be heard again at the Engadin Festival - as a glittering finale to the anniversary edition.
