Engadin Festival: Aydar Gaynullin Quartett

Engadin Festival: Aydar Gaynullin Quartett

Aydar Gaynullin, bayan/accordion Aliya Vodovozova, flute Alexey Wagner, guitar Philipp Kulen, percussion

A must for all accordion, tango and steam train fans is the open-air concert by Aydar Gaynullin and his quartet. We celebrate the 100th birthday of tango king Astor Piazzolla in the "European Year of Rail 2021" with a good portion of railroad romance. In an exclusive ride, you will travel on a nostalgic steam train of the Rhaetian Railway from St. Moritz through the Albula to Stuls near Bergün on one of the most beautiful railroad lines in the world (UNESCO World Heritage Site!).

Fireworks await you with Aydar Gaynullin. He is "musical genius and gifted entertainer", as the press writes. No one could honor Astor Piazzolla better and more stirring than he together with his phenomenal quartet of accordion, flute, guitar and drums.

"Tribute to Piazzolla" for his 100th birthday.
Works by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel, Richard Galliano, Ángel Villoldo, Alfred Schnittke and Aydar Gaynullin
