Engadin Festival: Renaud Capuçon - Violine & Martha Argerich - piano

Engadin Festival: Renaud Capuçon - Violine & Martha Argerich - piano

Martha Argerich is "the incomparable", "the absolutely outstanding pianist of our time" (NZZ). Since her debut in 1949 at the age of eight in her hometown of Buenos Aires, she set new standards in the piano world.

She is "a being of soul and presence". Her very special passion is chamber music. She has devoted the last few years to her in particular. With Renaud Capuçon, one of the most important violinists of the present day, she has enjoyed a long-standing collaboration and friendship. Their music-making together radiates a unique spontaneity and devotion that is only possible among musicians who know each other as well as they do.
