Book vernissage at the Museum Engiadinais: Riet & Maria Campell

Book presentation and reading for the new bilingual publication: Riet & Maria Campell: Engadine pioneering spirit between beer haze and museum air. Paschiun per la famiglia, malt e mobiglia.

In his autobiography from 1939, Riet Campell (1866-1951) recounts his life as a beer farmer in Susch and Celerina. As a pioneer, he collected residential cultural property and built the Museum Engiadinais in St. Moritz for it in 1906.

The editor Duri Bezzola publishes for the first time the Romansh original with a complete translation into German, supplemented with research and illustrations of this moving era.

Introduction by the museum management and by Prof. Dr. Rico Valär, Zuoz; Rhaeto-Romanic and German; musical accompaniment.
