Bob Run Skating

Bob Run Skating

At the Olympic Bob Run, competitions are held every year in the disciplines of bobsleigh, luge and skeleton. Since the winter season 2019/20 there is a special highlight on the only natural ice bobsled run in the world: Bob Run Skating.

Inspired by the filming of the Willy Bogner movie "Fire & Ice", Bob Run Skating took place for the first time on the Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz-Celerina in 1991. At that time, up to 150 ice hockey players in full ice hockey gear skated down the Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz-Celerina at speeds of up to 80 km/h and delivered exciting races.

On Saturday, March 5, 2022 (from 9 a.m.), there will be this unique event again: Licensed ice hockey players aged 16 and over will race for victory in the individual and team rankings on the fastest route from St. Moritz to Celerina. 1722 meters - the race will start every 30 seconds. Excitement and action are guaranteed and great material prizes await the winners.
