August 1 celebration in La Punt Chamues-ch

We look forward to celebrating the Swiss National Day with you in La Punt Chamues-ch. Procedure:

• 9:00 p.m. start of the 1st August celebration with the ringing of the bells
• 9:10 p.m. ceremony
  • Opening with the sound of the alphorn by the Sunatübas Crasta
• Welcome by Peter Tomaschett, Mayor
• Speech by Christoph Mäder, President of economiesuisse
• Singing of the national anthem together
• 9:30 p.m. light and water show. Duration approx. 1 hour

In the event of strong winds and/or thunderstorms, only the ceremony will take place in the marquee in front of the vegl magazine. Information on T. +41 76 797 72 82

La Punt Ferien is offering all children a free lantern for August 1st. These can be picked up from Monday, July 29th at the Tourist Information.

The setting off of fireworks is prohibited in the entire municipality.
