Christmas and Epiphany Window

Christmas and Epiphany Window

At the end of the Christmas season, we will visit and experience Gian Casty´s stained glass window "Nativity" in the San Bastiaun Chapel and the "Epiphany Window" in the San Luzi Church.

We will listen to well-known and unfamiliar pieces on these impressive works. This will be accompanied by Christmas organ music from the Romantic period. Jürg Stocker, Bever, will play the organ.

Gian Casty from Zuoz (1914 - 1979) is an important Swiss glass painter. He belongs to the avant-garde of the Swiss art scene that rediscovered stained glass as a fully-fledged means of artistic expression. There are a dozen outstanding works from his oeuvre in the public space in Zuoz.

This is not a religious event.

Corona certification requirement applies.
