Winter walks on the Corviglia

The winter hiking trails on Corviglia

To climb from St. Moritz Dorf up to Chantarella, you can happily take the funicular; when the sunny plateau of Salastrains comes into view, you have two options. You either stay at this altitude and stroll gently across to the Restaurant Chasellas, where you can enjoy a crispy salad, Graubünden specialities or a plate of pasta (or, if you come in the evening, the exquisite dishes conjured up by head chef Steven Müller).

Or you opt to tackle a few more vertical metres, and walk along the skiing slope through the tunnel under the World Championship piste to the Signal cable car. From here it’s just a hop to trendy el paradiso, a stylish but relaxed restaurant with a panoramic terrace serving alpine cuisine with a twist.
