Fary-T(r)ail Bever Valley

The Engadin Fairy T(r)ail is legend.

It enjoys cult status among young, old and even adult "children": the fairy tale trail leads from Bever to Spinas and stops at eight stations. It can also be started in Spinas and completed down the valley.

The fairy tale path in Val Bever awaits visitors: huge sculptures by local artists illustrate stories written by Engadine authors, which can be read in large-format fairy tale books at these rest stops. The witty experience is also available in five languages as a handy book to buy at the Tourist Information Bever – so that the holiday can reverberate as a fairy tale at home.

The trail leads through fragrant pastures and lovely woods. At Punt da Resgia and shortly before Spinas, two cosy barbecue areas near the Beverin invite you to linger. At the Spinas restaurant, the beautiful sun terrace is a tempting place to stop for a bite to eat, and the children will enjoy the playground. The railway station is right next door, so you can take the train back to Bever or a horse-drawn carriage. If you haven't had enough yet, we recommend the rear Val Bever: There, the landscape and especially the Beverin show themselves in a wild, unspoilt state. Against this background, the Beverin has been awarded the "River pearl PLUS" label since summer 2021.

Fairy tale uncle Chasper Beverin (played by Lorenzo Polin) reads, tells, acts out and stages the fairy tales of the Fairy Tale Trail Bever for children aged 7 and over on various dates in July and August. You too can become part of the fairy tale path, from the reading to the transformation into fairy tale characters – everything is possible and always takes its own individual course. Meeting point: Spinas train station, Val Bever at 11.30 a.m. (train arrival from Engadin 11.22 a.m.). End at the entrance to Bever at the schoolhouse. In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled by 8.00 a.m. on the day of the event. All details at www.engadin.ch/events
