They are good-natured, well-balanced and move safely in traffic: the horses of the Engadin River Ranch are the calm themselves and are therefore perfectly suited for relaxed rides in the magnificent mountain world. Beginners are welcome, as previous riding experience is not necessary for guided rides.
The River Ranch team instructs its guests in the basic techniques of riding before the excursion and, of course, accompanies them along the way. The offer includes everything from a two-hour ride to a 5-day trekking in small groups that horse lovers love.

Stalla Chapella
Fun and respect belong to riding as much as the beautiful mountains belong to the Engadin. The joy of being in harmony with the horse's nature and the feeling of rhythm and balance are at the forefront of the communication between man and horse. Beginners and advanced riders can relax and immerse themselves in this silent dialogue while riding at Stella Chapella.
On adventure half-days, which are particularly suitable for families and beginners, access to the horse is made possible in a vivid and playful way. For advanced riders, the Stella Chapella team offers dressage lessons on well-trained horses and teaches the basics of Natural Horsemanship. Of course, courses with different focuses and rides through the beautiful Engadine mountains complete the year-round riding offer.
In the Stalla Chapella there is room for boarding, vacation and training horses in the spacious open stable, awarded with the Swiss Animal Protection Horse Label. Owners are also catered for: a vacation apartment is just a 3-minute walk away, and a camping site and a hotel are in the immediate vicinity of the stable.

Gina's riding school
Gina (Trainer C/SFRV and Centered Riding Instructer) offers riding lessons, guided rides for beginners and advanced riders in the beautiful surroundings of Pontresina. While the little ones from the age of three get used to riding on leisurely walks with the pony, still uncertain riders improve their skills under guidance or saddle-fast riders want to give their vacation a sporty touch: Gina Wohlwend and her children will be happy to introduce you to the world of horses.
