Just a couple of (golfing) drives down the valley, Switzerland's oldest golf course in Samedan has to contend with some strong competition: the 18-hole golf course in Zuoz-Madulain, which opened just a few years ago, offers not only fairways laid out in an interesting and varied manner, but also a magnificent scenic backdrop at every level – from the quietly flowing River Inn to the lofty peaks of the Upper Engadin Alps.
