The lake Staz (Stazersee), which appears, magnificently calm and sun-kissed, in a clearing in the Staz forest. With the fragrance of fir trees and Swiss stone pine (a type of arolla pine especially found in the Engadine) in the air, you can float in the water or relax on the shore in the warming sun. The swampy meadows, which partly surround the calm lake, give it its unique character.
